Since we live in northern Maine, we needed something that worked well against black flies, deer flies, no-see-ums and mosquitoes (as long as you wear a long-sleve shirt if you don't move around much) Mosquitoes tend to bite through the mesh if your skin is next to it. I solved that problem by spraying the bug jacket before I put it on. Really like the idea of the pull cords on the waist and sleeves too. Adjusting them to accommodate gloves really helps. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you live where 'blood sucking' critters are a problem. Made well also. |
